So I’m jumping on the blog-bandwagon. I figured that for the next year while I’m out of the country in Bangladesh, instead of bothering people with a flood of impersonal mass emails, I would post it all in a one of these hip and trendy blog thingies, so that those interested could read about my life as they pleased. I have an affinity towards digression and half of what I write will probably be more like journal entries for myself to reread one day than anything else... but enjoy...

Vor Sol er bleven kold, vi er i Vintervold og dunkle Dage...

First time away from home for Christmas....ssssaaaadddd....

Supporting our Cameroonian boys at their quarter final soccer game. Evay and Marshal play for Abahani, the topic ranked Bangladesh soccer team. (They sadly lost in the finals though Evay got VIP for the whole tournament and was awarded a Vespa.) They got recruited to play for the top Indian soccer after this tournament was over.

Oh Tannenbaum...

Woken Christmas morning by the lovely sounds of drilling and machinery. Some sort of pipes being lain outside.

Opening stockings on Christmas morning... awww...

Just mashin' the yams... mashin' the yams...

Ham in Dhaka for Christmas... talk about blasphemy.

I managed to cajole everyone into singing Christman carols... yay. There was one Dane who came, Troels, but left before the Danish xmas caroling started. From my aunt, I even got the words to mommy's favorite Danish xmas carol, Solhvervssan... Vor Sol er bleven kold, vi er i Vintervold og dunkle Dage...
